MyWebResource is a site that was initially published to list all my favorite webmaster resources. At first, it was more of a personal site where I kept all my bookmarks and projects I’ve worked on. Surprisingly, the site started getting a ton of hits. I found that people actually enjoyed browsing a site that had usable information about web design that is not loaded down with a million ads and is not a “free for all” link directory.
Seeing this trend inspired me to develop MyWebResource further. Several months later, MyWebResource has become a terrific resource for any webmaster where they can read articles about web design, search engine optimization, web hosting, or any other topic related to web design.
I’m happy to announce the results of the XOOPS Site of month october voting. This month again, I recieved some more votings than in the previous month. Totally there were 148 votings within 11 invalid mails. Thanks for your participation and thanks to those who helped in promoting and making this contest possible.
… the winner is … RF Online Base . “RF Online Base is a hub of detail for the highly anticipated MMORPG RF Online. RFBase has a large community, friendly members, and a helpful staff.”
Actually there were many hits on keyword “xoops sites” and “sites using xoops” so i think this contest will help to promote xoops too. There are some really nice and successful sites within our nomination and link area.

Frank Skettino is now back with his OSWD community. The site was offline for some time but now most of the content should be back, … and even some more.
Why i always recommend OSWD?
You’ll find a big resource of designs which you can download for free. Most of the new designs are valid [x]html and css. They are free to download and perhaps you need some basics to get started? Even if you do want to use your own source, you will get tons of inspiration for your next xoops theme browsing through the examples.

Yesterday i switched xoops factory to a new server and a new IP. Now, after more than 20 hours it should be round the worlds DNS. Hopefully there were no big problems visiting this site during the last hours. I thought it wasn’t as important to mention before. Did YOU ever switch hosting service with a running xoops site? It’s not a big deal…

Perhaps only for the german speaking part of xoopsfactory visitors, but to make some advertising of my private blog.
I put a new theme (though it’s wordPress) online and I want to inform you about this event and invite YOU all to visit and look around for some theme examples. Most of my wordpress layouts will run xoops with only some modifications in way of rendering system related template engine.
Did you ever wanted to have a XOOPS minibutton and link to xoops.org using an image instead of a text link?
I made some different small 80*15px buttons which you can use on your site if you want to.
Is this what we all have waited for? A good statistics tool for our xoops-sites? Now, we know what google wanted from Urchin. Google started his service called analytics which is a high-end web analytics and will be available for free. Google analytics will tell you everythink you ever wanted to know about people visiting your website. It is integrated into Google Adwords but can be used by others with Google Account too.
