This month it was a hard work for me to check all emails but at last, it was a good basis for a decision.

The form to submit your voting for August 2006 is online now! Again, we are looking for the XOOPS Site of the month, so please, take some minutes, visit the nominated sites of August and give a voting for your favourite site! During the last year there were 170 nominations of xoops sites which I was able to present here on xoopsfactory. Now we are starting the second year and i wish that i can show more and more XOOPS Sites in action.

We did it, once around the calendar, one year, 12 Month, 12 winner of the xoops site of the month contest. And, … we have seen many great examples of XOOPS usage. Thanks to all!

While looking through the emails with your votings, it was not that hard to see who will be the winner of month July 2006. While counting the first 30 emails, it seemed to be a head to head race between 2 of the nominated sites but then, … www.lebuccaneer.com made the race with more than 80% of all submissions. lebuccaneer got 56 from 69 valid email. The next follow up site is WestCoaster.ca with 11 email.

Our XOOPS SITE OF THE MONTH CONTEST for month July 2006 is open now. This month we have only 4 nominations but some nice examples of xoops usage as we think. Please take some time to browse through the nominations of july 2006 and submit your voting until the 23th of august.

By the way, you are invited to submit your nomination for the next month. The winner will be listed in our footerlinks, the footer of fame.

There were not that much responses on our xoops site of the month contest as usual but we have a winner though. Some events here in europe (soccer, football) and the “summer of the century” dot not really invite to read webpages but more to enjoy sun and water.

The winner of month June 2006 is Utah Antique Machinery News with the most valid emails. Personally, I do love the great images!

I’ ve just opened the voting form for month June 2006 to start the contest. I’m a bit late this month, but hey … until yesterday, we had a different topic here in germany. FIFA World cup is nearly finished and we can concentrate on different topics here again.

Some comments to vetofish given by our visitors:

• + I like it’s originality, the way how it manages content and all it’s features.
• + What do YOU love most of YOUR favourite Site? This was a tough choice but I have to say my reason for choosing Vetofish was because of it’s graphics. I like the layout but the style of the design makes me feel as if I’m using a local program. Simple yet effective.
• + The design is polished and pleasing to the eye. It doesn’t look like, yet another XOOPS site. Well done!
