I’m actually playing with my xf_colourBlue Theme, making some variations. Here is one example which I do like for a personal site. The theme is actually running on Worpress for i’m playing with image-headlines, a plugin that replaces text to images and where normal .ttf fonts are generated to png. Nice isn’t it?

Never knew that my linux player has such nice visualisations. THis is just copy and paste and playing a bit in fireworks. Can we use this for inspiration in our layouts?

Another CSS variation I made last night. Some changes on css and images to switch layout. This is one of the advantage of CSS layouts.

In this case i’m using some images from openclipart.org and a horizontal CSS dropdown from solardreamstudios.com to make layout idea a bit more interesting.

I’m actually digging in my backups of themeworks.

The basic screen for this theme I made some time ago but using other colours and blockarrangement. This is a blue version of this which is using some smarty to querry blocksettings. Have a look at it.

Yesterday, I found a nice blog entry about time sensitive CSS while managing my favourites on del.icio.us. First, I was thinking that i did not understand that stuff, because i could not find a problem needing this set of solutions. For what the hell should i switch my CSS on time events?

Of course, you are able to create a xoopsball and a xoopsflag too. It’s a only bit fun for boring times at weekend or when it’s late and you dunno where to surf. Endless looking at your statistic files isn’t so good for your eyes, didn’t your mum told you? Found a nice link to ubrowser which makes fun playing with the websites.

No real use though and you can achieve the same using a gaphic tool, but as said, it’s for those who are bored. Are you having your own cube or flag?

I’m actually playing with some ideas i had in my head with themes. This example is inspired by the BLIX theme which i learned using WordPress. I made it using my source structure which i have used in the past though but it was easier for my to use my xhtml xoops structure and put some other styles to it.

Did you ever wanted to have a XOOPS minibutton and link to xoops.org using an image instead of a text link?
I made some different small 80*15px buttons which you can use on your site if you want to.

Not again, not another weekend, not another week with xoops.org offline. But i’m sure the first person who reports about this sad sad event. Hm, it seems plesk is running. …. plesk?

Why the hell is there no information on the local support pages? No xoopser crying and blinking on icq, no mail? Everything seems to be as normal as usual. Does nobody care? What’s up?

or, … should i say, WE are back in googles search result pages (serps) actually with keyword xoops? It’s a strange up and down the last days. Ok, we had a PR update some days before (20th october) and some guys in forum are talking about the effects of “Jagger”, “Jagger2″ and “Jagger3″ (the name given to this update). On the first step of update we got back our PR and now we are back in serps which is in my eyes much more important for a webmaster than this little green border. Being back in serps means to get some more visitors; what was the meaning of PR, uuh?? haha, yes, … what has happened?
