hard to await XOOPS Version 2.2
really, isn’t it? I thought to wait with installing a BLOG until new XOOPS Version 2.2 is some steps further in development. Then i will love to test and use the great WordPress Module for XOOPS. This will allow me to combine both advantages of XOOPS and wordPress together. XOOPS is great to handle many different dynamic data and WordPress allows me to organize and present my Content in a smooth way and with nice rewrite stuff.
This seems to last a bit and so i put a WordPress install on his own and made the xoops theme fit WordPress Templates. Themeing of WordPress isn’t really that different from XOOPS. Both use a rendering engine and if you know a bit html and css stuff you will be able to make it fit a wordPress theme (and vice versa) with only some exercises.
