Did i told you that i love [we]Blogs? Not only blogs but blogging itself? I love the way i can display content in a nice and easy way.
And i love the blogger community. During the last weeks i visited many blogs via blogsearch or through links from visited pages and i’m more and more impressed. Some weeks ago the time was right to fill the idea to setup a xoops 2.2 with WordPress Modul, a forum and some other nice modules to handle a blogger-community with life. The project was born …
After regging the domains blogger-community.com and blogger-community.de there was a bit delay in releasing a XOOPS Version 2.2 which i would use on a live website. There were some great examples live but i wanted to wait until a near [final] version.
So i started with WordPress [stand alone] and a punBB on the german domain.

While thinking about a theme, i thought it was easier to take an existing XOOPS CSS theme of mine, make it a bit nice and port it to wordPress and punBB. If switching to a xoops 2.2 it would be a bit more comfortable for me to replace files and blocks.
Actually i am talking with some people who want to help me realising this project on the .com domain too, but let’s see what the german beta says in some weeks … You are invited to follow my little journey and read the reports of ongoing with this project. What i do to get it known, tipps, hacks and of course, the most important for YOU, the switch to xoops 2.2 !
