xoops.org redesign
Before submitting some ideas and thoughts about the redesign of xoops.org i will play a bit with the colours, the new logo and some old ideas. This is the first one.
Again, this is a variation from the basic theme used on system XOOPS …
(see xoopsfactory.com) or on system WORDPRESS (see blogger-community.de). The basic idea of this theme is to be as flexible as possible. Using smarty and blocksettings we create different ID for blocklayouts to get ability to show full content without blocks, a two column layout or three columns without too much style- and themefiles. This THEME is layed out to fit all usual sizes but its made for 1024 fixed width center for it’s nice there. It should render propper on a heldheld though

Screens with higher resolution should have a centered fixed width of 958px.
It will perfectly run XOOPS and WORDPRESS with easy implementation of external moduls within static files as well.
Passed validation for XHTML 1.0 Strict OK. No CSS hacks but setting maxwidth used in this css! The logo font and the “powered by” will need some new colours but as a first draft i like the idea What about your opinion?
