• + I like it's originality, the way how it manages content and all it's features.


• + What do YOU love most of YOUR favourite Site? This was a tough choice but I have to say my reason for choosing Vetofish was because of it's graphics. I like the layout but the style of the design makes me feel as if I'm using a local program. Simple yet effective.


• + The design is polished and pleasing to the eye. It doesn't look like, yet another XOOPS site. Well done!

XOOPS Sites: Here we are with the results of January 2006. Not as much votings as we have seen in the last months, but therefore we got not as much spam as we have seen before.

In the comming months i will continue to look for people who want to help reviewing sites and i'm still thinking how to categorize the voting into groups such as "best design", "best community" and "best content" etc.

The winner of the "XOOPS Site of the month" award, month february is Roma Victor Camp. "... Roma Victor Camp is a fansite and resource site for historical, no subscription fees MMORPG Roma Victor. It consists of a massive forum, screenshots, links, articles and poll section. ..."
"... It provides all the up to date news about Roma Victor, and the site looks cool too!...", "... Its very informative and a great resource for those who need to use it. The staff are incredibly helpfull and offer a friendly atmosphere in the forums. ..."

Decembers winner is Asian Car Styling with 17 votings. The second place is shared by Anime Kensei and Wanabka with 15 votings each. With 10 votings each the third place is shared by All about MASK and Gooberhead.net (hmmm, ... i wish i could be 15 or 20 years younger again ...).

Again, there were many good sites! My personal favourite this month was the page of xray-mag.com for its great content and stuff on their page. When i got the nomination for this site it took me some hours to look through the magazine. Nor I'm a diving specialist or too much interested in this topic but the images and stuff were really great. Perhaps some of the guys want to invite me for a week? I downloaded some of their .pdf documents and began to dive in ...

I'm happy to announce the results of the XOOPS Site of month october voting. This month again, I recieved some more votings than in the previous month. Totally there were 148 votings within 11 invalid mails. Thanks for your participation and thanks to those who helped in promoting and making this contest possible.

Actually there were many hits on keyword "xoops sites" and "sites using xoops" so i think this contest will help to promote xoops too. There are some really nice and successful sites within our nomination and link area.

Here we are with the results of the November voting. All in all there were nearly 150 emails with your votings this month. I had to delete some of them though. Some of our visitors are using visible unvalid adresses such as 123@456.78 or did not managed to hide or change IP while voting more than once ;).

There are SOME great sides within the nominations this month, but there is a clear result though.

We finished the period of voting for the month september. BIG thanks to all who have found some time to look at the nominations, to fill in the voting form, helped and participated.

This month there were 128 votings and many comments. Some said that there were too many nominations, which was too hard to look at and visit all. In future we will limit the nominations to a number of 10 to 15. There are no restrictions to nominate a site, so you can nominate a site for each month. We will take care that each submission will take part at least once.

Welcome to XOOPS FACTORY bLOG area. This is the first post i made while installing the theme which i took from the actual running XOOPS theme. First i wanted to wait with installing a blog until we have a final Version 2.2.

I made some nice eXperiences with some blogs again during the last year while resting with XOOPS. But then it was a bit boring without XOOPS. So i start XOOPS blogging NOW!
